Dana’s Testimony
“I started in my first challenge group on September 26, 2016, so almost a year ago, and there has been no looking back. This program has changed my life and has offered me a sense of freedom and hope that I never thought possible. I truly feel like I have made a huge, SUSTAINABLE lifestyle shift and that feels so GOOD!
Before starting, life was crazy. My husband and I were coming off of 4 insane years in California filled with life and job stress. My husband and I rarely saw each other and I was busy at home with 2 small kids and working 30 hours a week from home. Every minute was accounted for, and my health suffered. I gained weight. I ate whatever I wanted. I never exercised. I suffered from anxiety. My blood pressure was high. I felt tired ALL of the time. In no way was I living a healthy lifestyle in any aspect of the word.
Due to our crazy life in California, we decided to make huge changes and ended up moving up to Eastern Washington. When we made the move in July 2016, I finally felt a glimmer of hope that life would look different and come September, I was ready to reach out to my friend and old co-worker, Amethyst. I was TERRIFIED! Seriously. I was in tears speaking with her. I was in tears discussing the program. I was in tears about committing. I felt so hopeless and I wanted to change so badly, but I was so afraid of FAILURE. Maybe you can relate? I have spent so much of my life fearing failure that I don’t step out. And I remember Amethyst telling me she would be with me each step of the way — so, I said “yes.” Through my tears and fears and insecurities, I said “yes.” And, almost 11 months later, I’m still saying, “yes.”
I never knew the freedom I could experience from taking good care of my body. I never knew that this program would literally change my body and my life. Through 30 minutes of exercise a day and following this nutrition plan, I have lost 49 pounds. It’s shocking. And, I crave the 30 minutes of exercise. It’s my 30 minutes of sanity. Since starting this program, my anxiety is reduced. My fears are subsiding. My negative self-talk has become a whisper. I have worn shorts and my bathing suit all summer and have felt GOOD! All of it. It’s been amazing for me, and it’s been amazing for my family. I am a better mom and wife and friend because I’m taking better care of me. And, this program has shown me the importance of self-care. When I take care of my body, I am better equipped to take care of people around me. Just like an oxygen mask on the airplane.
The icing on the cake? I’m training for a half marathon on September 23 and I’m so excited. If you would’ve told me last year that I’d be running a 1/2 marathon this year, I would’ve laughed at you. But here I am, and it feels so good to set goals and do the work to achieve them. In all honesty, this program provided me the most incredible foundation for my 1/2 marathon training. The 30 minutes of daily exercise have created strength and stamina.
My heart is full. I’m so thankful for the continual support of my coach, Amethyst. I love the support in the accountability groups. And I feel like I’m creating new habits that are sustainable for the long haul. No more of the weight loss/exercise roller coaster – this program has given me the tools to stick with it for good!”

“As far as results, I’m super pleased (my husband is too since he’s basically eating better now too and our meals are planned so there’s no more stress with the “what’s for dinner” question haha!) I lost 10 lbs and 6 inches in the 21 days. Overall I feel like I have much more energy, even on those days I’m sleepy from an early morning work out or worn out from the tough work day, I am just accomplishing much more in my days than before and feeling more motivated.”
Melissa’s Testimony
“It’s always a good reminder to look back and see how far you’ve come. The photo on the bottom was taken in May at a friend’s house. I bought this new pair of jeans that I could barely squeeze into and it showed! I was so disgusted when I saw the picture I couldn’t even believe that was me! The top photo is me today, after making a commitment to live a healthier lifestyle and taking care of me. My success didn’t come overnight, it didn’t come from a magic pill or cream. It came from showing up every day and putting in the hard work, wheather I “felt like it” or not.
I won’t sit here and bs you and tell you that I have found the secret to losing weight and keeping it off. I will tell you there is NO secret. Sucess comes from hard work, determination, showing up everyday and most of all believing in yourself! I didn’t think I could do it either, but I knew I had to much to lose if I didn’t try.”
