As the founder of Team Freedom Fighters, I recognize that many people struggle with body image, food issues and dependency on substances that are harmful to their body.
Amazing things happen when we have the opportunity to help people learn to fuel their bodies correctly, move their bodies regularly, and live transparently in a safe and supportive group. People begin to realize that there are other issues lying below the surface. Together, we wrestle out the lies that we believe about ourselves.
Team Freedom Fighters rose from two very influential teams: Team Lives Transformed and The Dream Team (Beachbody’s #1 team four years in a row). Our roots are deep from both of these teams and we are forever connected to them as we each seek to care for individuals with a deep desire to see lives transformed from the inside out.
Team Freedom Fighters is a group of women who are passionate about living life out loud, encouraging others, and breathing hope. We constantly re-orient individuals toward the truth that they are valuable, are made with a purpose and are worth the time and sacrifice it takes to care for oneself properly. Because only when we first pour into ourselves do we have anything to pour into others, including our spouse, children, friends, coworkers and clients.
While weight loss is a goal that brings most clients to us, we focus a lot of our attention on Non Scale Victories (NSVs) because the scale cannot measure how strong you are, how kind you are, how many miles you can run, how you fit in your jeans, how committed you are to your fitness or how beautiful your smile is.
